Over the past year or so, I’ve received numerous emails and calls from Avon Representatives asking for help on how to sell Avon online. For this reason, I’ve created Makeup Marketing Online. Selling Avon online requires hard work, dedication, and continuous marketing. It also takes time…you cannot build a successful Avon business overnight online or traditionally. However, once you build a solid online Avon business, you will reap the rewards and see the benefits of having repeat loyal eCustomers. My mission with Makeup Marketing Online is to help Avon representatives learn how to sell Avon online, how to sell Avon successfully, and how to use social media to boost online Avon sales.

Selling Avon Online

As you can see by the graph above, I didn’t focus on promoting my Avon website until 2012 and boy did it pay off! With almost 50,000 unique visitors to my Avon website last year, my online sales alone in the 2012-2013 sales cycle were enough to get me to President’s Club. Through blog posts, social media promotion, and email marketing, I more than doubled my online Avon sales from the previous year. Now in 2014, I am selling an average of almost $4,000 in Avon online sales per month.
To the right, you will see a snapshot of my web office. I love having Avon eCustomers because it requires less time to service these customers than traditional customers. When an Avon customer places an order on your website for Direct Delivery, Avon does most of the work for you and you still get commission for the Avon order. Although it is a nice gesture to say thank you to these customers and of course help them with any order issues, most of the time these customers are serviced with little effort on your behalf. However, if you’ve gotten online sales, you know it’s much harder to get online sales than traditional sales so most of the hard work and time goes into marketing your website. While I don’t suggest relying on selling Avon online only, it definitely helps to have eCustomers in addition to your traditional customers.
The greatest advantage of being an Avon eRepresentative is you can service Avon customers all over the U.S. Your boundaries are limitless within the country…opening up your business to a whole new market of customers. Even when you are not working on your Avon business, your personal Avon website is open for business 24/7.

When you take the right steps to promote your Avon website, you will see an increase in website visitors and hopefully an increase in online Avon sales as well!
