Why would you want to track your Avon website traffic? One reason might be to be able to see which marketing activities are working and which are not. If your website traffic increases after you try something new, chances are it’s a marketing activity that you will want to continue to put in your calendar / schedule. Be sure to do something consistently for a few weeks at a minimum to see if it’s valuable or not. You cannot try something new one time and then decide whether it’s worthwhile or not. Another reason you may want to monitor your website traffic is to find out where your visitors are coming from to decide how to allocate your time. For example, I know that my blog produces the most amount of traffic to my Avon eStore so I try to spend a lot of my time every week dedicated to creating new content and promoting my blog posts through social media.

It’s also interesting to see which countries and which parts of the country your website traffic is visiting from to see if your online customers are more local or long distance. As you can see in the image below, even though I live in Illinois…it’s only the 5th largest referral location. My online Avon marketing is attracting traffic from all over the United States with the most popular states being Texas, New York, Florida, and California. You can even drill down to see which cities your visitors live in. I love Google Analytics but it is very detailed. I use Google Analytics when I’m looking for very specific information and StatCounter to get a quick glimpse at how my web traffic is doing for the day, week, month, or even the year.

How to Set up and Install Google Analytics for your Avon Website

Google Analytics (GA) is a popular and free service offered by Google that generates detailed statistics about the visits to a website. If you would like to use Google Analytics, follow the instructions below.

  1. Google will present a page that contains your Tracking ID.
  2. Sign in or create an account on the Google Analytics page. Click here to access Google Analytics.
  3. Once you are logged into Google, set up an account for your website.
    IMPORTANT: You must enter your website URL to your Google account as: username.avonrepresentative.com. For example, mine is eseagren.avonrepresentative.com
  4. Copy (CTRL + C Windows, Command + C Mac) the ID then return to this section and paste (CTRL + V, Command + V Mac) into the box below.
  5. Click “Update Google Analytics ID”. The ID will then be applied to every page of your website. You can return to your Google account after 24 hours to view your website statistics.

How to Sell Avon Products from Home

Like many direct sales companies out there, Avon can be sold through various channels. Here are just a few ideas of how you can Sell Avon from Home:

  1. Build your Contact List – start out by listing at least 50 contacts you know who would be interested in Avon (either buying or selling Avon). Then follow up with those contacts, let them know you’re selling Avon and ask if you can bring by the most recent Avon catalog.
  2. Avon Home Parties – just because Avon’s main selling tool is the catalog, it doesn’t mean you can’t also have home parties. Direct selling home parties are a great way to find new loyal customers and network through your friends / family to get introduced to their acquaintances for potential new customers or team members.
  3. Sell Avon Online – when you Become an Avon Representative, you are given your own personal Avon website that you can use to promote to local and long distance customers. You are also given access to the Avon Social Media Center where you can use tools to promote your Avon business on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and more.
  4. Avon Events – whether it’s summertime or holiday selling season, events are a great way to find new customer contacts and potential recruits and even sell some products on hand. Be sure to have samples on hand and do a drawing so you are able to collect contact information for future follow up.
  5. Fundraisers – Did you know you can do fundraisers with Avon? Find local organizations who would be interested in setting up Avon Fundraisers. Even though you may end up donating the majority of your profit to the organization, this is another great way to build your customer list for future loyal customers and increase your award sales.

How much do you make Selling Avon from Home?

When you Sell Avon from Home, you will earn on a percentage-based commission chart. To earn a profit, you must submit a minimum of $50 in total orders in a campaign. Each Avon campaign lasts 2 weeks giving you a new catalog, products, and sales to deliver to your customers twice a month. When you collect money from your customers, you collect the amount for their total order and sales tax. When you submit your customers’ orders to Avon, you are billed for the cost of the products and sales tax, the difference between the amount collected from your customers and what you owe Avon is your profit. Here is the current Avon Commission Chart:

  • $0 – $49.99: 0%
  • $50 – $149.99: 20%
  • $150 – $294.99: 30%
  • $295 – $439.99: 35%
  • $440 – $924.99: 40%
  • $925 – $1574.99: 45%
  • $1575+: 50%

How much do you make Selling Avon Online?

With direct delivery orders (orders shipped directly to your customer) on your Avon website, you will earn 20% commission. As a member of the President’s Club, you can earn an additional 5% commission on all direct delivery orders for being a top seller. Online commission is paid through credits on your Avon account. When your account balance reaches a credit balance of $25 or more, the amount will be direct deposited to your bank account twice per month.

If you want to Become an Avon Representative Online and would like to know how to Sell Avon Online Only, you would follow the same steps as someone who wants to sell Avon door-to-door. Follow the 3 steps at the top of this page. It is your business and you have the freedom to choose how you want to sell Avon, whether you want to Sell Avon Online Only, you want to be a traditional representative, or you want to do a combination of the two.

Once you have completed the online appointment and paid your appointment fee, you will be granted access to www.youravon.com, the Avon website for representatives. When you log in for the first time, you will be given the option to set up your own personal Avon website. With Avon’s One Simple Fee program, you are no longer charged any extra fees for having an Avon website so you should definitely take advantage of the opportunity to have an online presence. One of the first steps you should take after setting up your Avon website is to complete the training courses on www.youravon.com on How to Sell Avon Online including eRepresentative Web Office Tour and eRepresentative Order Management. Log in to your account on www.youravon.com – click on Avon University – New Representative – then choose one of the courses on being an eRepresentative. How much does it cost to Sell Avon? The sign up fee to Become an Avon Representative Online is $15. Your appointment fee includes your start up kit which contains 20 Avon brochures (10 for each of your first two campaigns), 5 Mark magalogs, samples, training, and reference materials. After you Become an Avon Representative Online, you are responsible for buying your own Avon brochures and sales tools. Avon brochures start at the price of $6.49 for a pack of 10 and get less expensive per brochure the more you buy. The only other fees associated with being an Avon Representative is your One Simple Fee. The One Simple Fee is charged for every campaign order you place and ranges from $5.95 to $14.95 based on the size of your order. The One Simple Fee includes your shipping and handling and your own personal Avon website. You can help recover the cost of your One Simple Fee by adding the 0.75 cent order processing fee to each customer order you collect.
